1. What VAZANTIS Does For You

VAZANTIS gives every physical item you own a permanent, verifiable digital identity. Instead of keeping paper receipts in a drawer or hoping a buyer will trust your word about a watch's service history, VAZANTIS builds a location-verified provenance record that anyone in the world can check instantly — without you having to share anything private.

When you sell, your buyer opens a link and sees the full history. When you insure, you have documented proof. When you pass something on, the record travels with it.

2. Getting Started

Creating an Account

Sign up at vazantis.com using either Google (one click, no password needed) or your email address. If you use email, you will receive a confirmation email — you must verify your address before you can log in. Google sign-in skips this step entirely.

Once your account is active, you receive a small signup credit bonus automatically — enough to anchor your first event to the blockchain. A short welcome email arrives at the same time with a link to register your first item.

Understanding Credits

VAZANTIS is not a subscription. You buy credits and spend them only on a handful of optional extras. Registering a new asset and logging spatial events — service, inspection, and so on — are both free. If you choose to anchor a specific event to the blockchain, that step costs credits; everything else about logging your provenance history does not.

Features that currently cost credits:

  • Anchoring an event to the blockchain
  • Generating a certificate of provenance
  • Accepting a peer-to-peer ownership transfer (buyer only)
  • Requesting a partner stamp
  • Unlocking the Reminders feature (one-time)
  • Ordering a Vazport™ (shipped)
Current prices for each of these are always shown on the Credits page — see that page rather than this manual, since prices can change at any time.

Buying Credits

Go to Credits from the menu in the top-right corner. Choose one of the available packages or enter a custom amount in the input field. Below the packages, a service price reference table shows what each credit action costs. Payment is processed securely by card. Credits appear in your account immediately after payment.

When a promotion is active, a gold banner appears at the top of the site and a callout on the Credits page shows the current bonus. Bonus credits are applied automatically at checkout — no code required.

Payment History

On the Credits page, click Payment history to view past receipts and download invoices. This is available after your first purchase.

3. Your Vault

The vault is your private collection. Every item you register lives here.

Registering an Asset

Click Add asset from the dashboard. Fill in the form:

Category — Currently set to Watch — the only supported category at launch. More categories are coming soon.

AI Auto-Fill (watches only) — Two ways to let AI fill the form for you:

  • Text / URL: paste a product page URL (e.g. from a watch marketplace or a manufacturer's site) or type a description like "Rolex Submariner 126610LN" and press Look up.
  • Photo: tap the camera icon next to the Look up button and photograph your watch box, warranty papers, or dial. The AI reads visible text and specs from the image.

Both methods fill in brand, model, reference number, production year, and all watch specifications automatically. Review the filled fields and adjust anything that looks wrong. If you want to start over, hit Clear.

Brand — Start typing and choose from the dropdown list of known brands, or type any brand not in the list. The field accepts free text.

Model — The model name (e.g. "Submariner Date", "Speedmaster Professional").

Reference number — The manufacturer's model code (e.g. 126610LN, 311.30.42.30.01.005). This is not the same as the serial number. It identifies the model, not your specific piece. Shown publicly on the passport.

Serial number — Your piece's individual serial number. This is private — it is stored securely and never shown on the public passport, to other users, or in certificates. It is for your own records only. Recommended — providing it gives your asset a slightly higher trust score (it proves unique identification of this specific piece), and if you skip it, a photo becomes required.

Production year — The year this model was introduced or your piece was made.

Photo — Upload a photo of the item. A good photo significantly increases buyer confidence. Required if no serial number is provided.

Nickname — An optional private label only you can see in your vault (e.g. "The Blue One", "Grandfather's watch"). Never shown publicly.

Watch Specifications (watches only) — Click More watch details to expand: case material, diameter, movement type, dial colour, bracelet/strap type, water resistance, crystal type, glass material detail, and complications. These are all optional but they appear on the public passport and certificate, which helps buyers assess the item without needing to ask.

Purchase Details — Records a purchase event on your provenance timeline. Choose where you acquired the item, optionally name the seller or shop, and enter the purchase year (or the exact purchase date if you know it — use the "Know the exact date?" toggle to switch to a date picker). Optionally select or GPS-verify the purchase location. This is one of the most trust-building things you can do at registration — it anchors the origin of the item to a real place and time.

Condition — Was the item brand new or already pre-owned when you acquired it? Optional, but unlike purchase price this is shown publicly — on the timeline, the public passport, and any certificate you generate.

Purchase price — Optional. Useful for insurance, valuation history, and personal records. Never displayed publicly — it never appears on the passport, in certificates, or anywhere another person can see it.

Receipt — Select your purchase receipt (PDF or image). The file is never uploaded — only a fingerprint of it is stored. This proves the receipt existed at this moment without revealing any of its contents (your name, address, price). You can verify the fingerprint later by re-checking the same file against the stored value.

Physical passport — Check this box to order a Vazport™ for this asset. A beautifully crafted card digitally linked to its provenance — tap with any phone to instantly open the verified record. See the Credits page for current pricing. You'll be asked for a shipping address, which is deleted after dispatch.

Click Create asset. Any applicable cost is shown on the Credits page.

Viewing and Managing Assets

Your vault shows all active assets as cards. If you have set a nickname, it appears as the card title with brand/model shown below it. Each card shows a Trust Ring in the top-right corner — a segmented circular dial showing your asset's overall trust score and the relative strength of each trust factor at a glance. The score in the centre is colour-coded: green for strong records, amber for moderate, red for limited. Hover the ring (or tap on mobile) to see a breakdown of all five trust factors with a mini bar for each. This is only visible to you in your vault — it is never shown on the public passport.

Click any card to open the asset detail page, where you see:

  • The full provenance timeline of events
  • Trust score and trust level
  • All public specifications
  • Buttons to log events, generate certificates, order a Vazport™, transfer ownership, and report the item stolen
  • A "Show at counter" button — opens a full-screen QR code displaying your asset's public passport URL. Show it to a registered partner at the shop so they can scan it and log a service event directly. This is the alternative to tapping an NFC card.

Sorting and filtering — On the vault, use the sort dropdown (Trust / Events / Recent / A–Z / Custom drag order) and category filter pills to organise your view.

Collection view — A two-icon toggle in the top-right of the vault switches between detail view (the default card layout with trust scores and event data) and image view (a compact portrait-ratio thumbnail grid showing just the photo, name, and trust score). Image view is ideal for browsing a large collection visually. Your preference is remembered per browser.

Relocate all — When you have two or more active assets, a Relocate all button appears next to the Add asset button at the top of the vault. Tap it to log a city-level relocation event across all your active assets at once — useful when you move home or change your primary storage location and want to update the location of your entire collection in one step. GPS is used to determine your city; exact coordinates are never stored. Free — no credits required.

Previously owned — Assets you have transferred away appear in a collapsible section at the bottom of the vault. Their history remains readable but you can no longer log events on them.

Editing an Asset

Click Update asset on the asset detail page. You can change:

  • Photo — editable only if the asset has a serial number on file. If no serial number was set at registration, the photo is locked — it is the sole identity record for that item. The form shows: "Photo is locked — add a serial number below to unlock photo editing."
  • Serial number — if no serial number was recorded at registration, a "Serial number" field appears at the bottom of the edit form, labelled "set once · permanent". Enter the serial and save. Once set, it cannot be changed. Adding a serial number unlocks photo editing and raises the maximum possible trust level (removes the Moderate cap).
  • Your nickname
  • Your private notes (added here if not set at registration)
  • Watch specifications (movement, case, dial, etc.)

Brand, model, reference number, category, and production year are permanent records and cannot be changed after creation. This is intentional — they describe the physical object, not your preferences.

4. Logging Spatial Events

Every interaction with your item — a service, a repair, an inspection, storage — can be recorded as a spatial event. These events build your provenance timeline and directly affect the trust score.

Event Types

TypeUse for
ServiceFull service or movement overhaul
RepairA specific repair (crystal replacement, crown repair, etc.)
InspectionCondition check without full service
AuthenticationExpert authentication by a watchmaker or dealer
StorageMoving to long-term storage
RelocationRecording where the item is currently kept — use when it moves to a new home, vault, or storage location (not for temporary travel)
OtherAnything else worth recording

What Gets Recorded

Description — Write what happened in plain language. The more detail, the better. This appears on the public timeline.

Date — Defaults to now. For past events, you can enter the actual date. When an event date differs significantly from when it was logged (more than 1 day), the timeline shows a small "added on [date]" note beneath the event date so viewers understand the difference.

Location — Search for a known shop by typing its name in the search box (results filter as you type), then tap Use my current location to verify. GPS confirmation happens automatically — no extra button press needed. A green chip shows the location name. If GPS detected you were within 100 metres of the shop, the chip shows · GPS verified. If you selected a shop but GPS couldn't confirm your presence there, a soft amber note reads · couldn't confirm you were nearby — the shop's coordinates are still stored regardless. Raw GPS coordinates are never stored or sent to any server — only the shop's known coordinates are stored (or a city-level approximation if no shop is selected at all).

If you purchased from a private individual or selected "Other" as the source, the shop search is hidden — tap Record city with GPS to record only your city (no shop is linked).

If the place isn't in the list, click "My location isn't listed — suggest it" below the search box. A modal opens with a name search. Selecting a result and ticking "I'm here right now" runs GPS immediately after submission — the chip will show whether your presence was confirmed. If you prefer to submit without GPS, untick the checkbox. Once VAZANTIS approves the submission, it will be added to the trusted locations directory and your event will be retroactively linked to it. You'll receive a bell notification when this happens.

Evidence — Upload a photo (e.g. a watchmaker's bench, a photo of the case back open). Photos are stored and shown on the public timeline.

Receipt hash — Attach a receipt by selecting the file. Only a fingerprint of it is stored; the file itself is not uploaded.

Blockchain anchor — Check this box to permanently record a fingerprint of this event on the blockchain, viewable on a public block explorer. Once anchored, this record cannot be altered or deleted — even if VAZANTIS itself ceased to exist. See the Credits page for current pricing. For important events (full service, purchase, authentication), it is strongly recommended.

If the blockchain network is temporarily unavailable when you log the event, the anchor will fail and your credit will be automatically refunded. You will see an amber warning on the event in your timeline with a "Retry anchor →" link. You can retry within 24 hours of the original attempt — the same record is used, so the result is identical to what would have been stored if the first attempt had succeeded. After the retry window closes, the option is no longer available.

Skipping it for now is fine too. If you leave the box unchecked, you'll be offered the chance to add the anchor right after saving, and you can still add it later from the asset page — same 24-hour window either way. Your vault shows a small time-remaining badge on any asset with an anchor opportunity still open, and you may also receive a one-time reminder email if it's about to close.

Trust Score

Each event receives a trust score from 0 to 100, reflecting the strength and credibility of that record. The main contributors, roughly in order of importance:

Primary factors

  • Location match — Was the event recorded where it was expected?
  • Evidence quality — Did you attach a photo, a receipt fingerprint, a serial number, or record the item's condition? These add up — an asset with a photo, a serial number, and condition recorded scores higher than one with just a photo.
  • Permanent record — Was the event anchored to the blockchain as a tamper-evident record?

Secondary factor

  • Location trust — How verified is the recorded location?

Supporting factor

  • Continuity — How consistent and frequent is your event history?

Your asset's overall trust score is the average across all events. Higher scores make your item significantly easier to sell at full value.

Items without a serial number are capped at Moderate. The serial number is the only field that proves which specific piece is on record — without it, the provenance record applies to the model, not your individual item. Adding a serial number (even after registration) removes this cap immediately.

5. The Dashboard

Vault Tab

Your active collection. Search by brand, model, reference number, or nickname. Filter by category. Sort by trust score, event count, or drag to your preferred order.

Overview Tab

A cross-collection view of all your assets and their event timelines.

Collection snapshot at the top shows: how many items you're currently holding, how many you've sold, your most owned brand, the year you acquired the most items, total events logged, and how many are anchored on-chain.

Each asset card shows:

  • The colour-coded dot trail of events (oldest to newest), with amber rings on anchored events
  • Your current average trust score for that asset, coloured by trust level
  • The most recent event type and description excerpt
  • An Idle badge (amber) if no events have been logged in over a year — a signal that your continuity score is dropping and it may be time to log a service or inspection

Ask VAZANTIS (premium) — if you have activated a Vazport™ card, an ✦ Ask VAZANTIS button appears at the top of the Overview tab. Clicking it generates a short factual report on your collection: asset activity, trust levels, blockchain anchoring status, and any idle items. You can generate one report per day — asking again before midnight shows the same report rather than a new one.

Reminders Tab

Track anything time-sensitive for your collection: annual service due, insurance renewal, authentication appointment, auction deadline.

Reminders are unlocked once for a small one-time fee — see the Credits page for current pricing. After that, add as many as you like at no further cost.

When adding a reminder:

  • Set a title and due date
  • Optionally link it to a specific asset
  • Optionally enable Email me when due to receive an email notification on the due date

Reminders are grouped into Overdue, Upcoming, and Dismissed. An amber badge on the Reminders tab appears when any are due or overdue.

On-Chain Tab

Unlocks when you have 3 or more blockchain-anchored events. A complete register of every event you have anchored to the blockchain, with links to a public block explorer for independent verification.

6. The Public Passport

Every asset has a public passport page at a URL like vazantis.com/passport/XXXXXXXX. This page is accessible to anyone in the world without an account.

What the passport shows:

  • Brand, model, reference number, category
  • Your photo
  • Watch specifications (movement, case, dial, etc.) if recorded
  • Overall trust score and trust level
  • Full provenance timeline — every event you have logged, with location, date, and any evidence
  • Condition at acquisition (brand new or pre-owned), where recorded
  • A map showing the geographic trail of the item across its history
  • Blockchain links for any anchored events
  • Gold "Verified by [Name]" badges for events stamped by registered service partners

What it never shows:

  • Your serial number
  • Your private notes or nickname
  • Your identity
  • Exact GPS coordinates
  • Purchase prices

If no serial number is on record, the passport shows a small grey note: "Serial number not recorded — item identified by photograph." This is visible to prospective buyers. You can remove this notice by adding a serial number from the Update asset page.

Share this URL freely with prospective buyers. They can verify the history without you having to explain anything. This link is permanent — it never changes once your asset is created.

7. Certificates of Provenance

A certificate is a formal document you can generate for any active asset.

Generating

On the asset detail page, click Generate provenance certificate. See the Credits page for current pricing. It produces:

  • A professionally formatted PDF you can download, print, or email
  • A permanent online certificate page at a unique URL

The certificate includes: asset details, trust score, full provenance record, blockchain reference details, and for watches, a compact specification line. When an event was recorded significantly later than its claimed date (more than 1 day apart), the certificate shows both dates — "added on [date]" appears beneath the event date so any buyer can see the full picture.

Re-downloading

Re-downloading an existing certificate is free — a charge only applies when generating a new one.

Revoking

If you revoke a certificate (e.g. because circumstances have changed or you want to issue a fresh one), the online certificate page becomes invalid. Revocation is free. After revoking, you can generate a new certificate at the standard cost.

8. Peer-to-Peer Ownership Transfer

When you sell an item privately, VAZANTIS transfers the full provenance record to the buyer with a single link — no paperwork, no manual handover of history.

Initiating (Seller)

On the asset detail page, click Transfer asset. A modal appears with:

  • An optional buyer's email field — if filled, VAZANTIS sends the link directly to the buyer so they don't need to scan a QR code
  • A QR code the buyer can scan on the spot
  • The transfer link to copy and send by message or email
  • The expiry time (48 hours)

Generating the transfer link is free for you as the seller. If you already have an active link and re-open the modal, no new link is generated and nothing is charged. If you entered a buyer email, a confirmation "Transfer link sent to buyer by email." appears once the link is ready.

Claiming (Buyer)

The buyer opens the link and sees the asset's full public passport — photos, provenance timeline, trust score, all specifications — before committing to anything. If the asset has a Vazport™ card on record, an amber notice appears reminding the buyer to request the card from you.

To accept, they click Accept transfer — optionally entering what they paid (private, for their own records only) and optionally with a blockchain anchor checkbox — and confirm. The item's condition is recorded automatically as pre-owned (a peer-to-peer transfer always means it already had a previous owner), so there's nothing to select here. This costs the buyer credits (plus a further amount if they choose to anchor — see the Credits page for current pricing). They must have a VAZANTIS account. If they don't have one, they can sign up for free at vazantis.com before clicking Accept — registration takes under a minute. The location on the transfer event is automatically inherited from the seller's last verified shop location, so the buyer does not need to provide one.

If the buyer has enough credits to claim but not enough to also anchor, a prompt appears explaining the shortfall with two options: top up their balance and return to the link, or proceed without anchoring. Anchoring can always be added later from the asset detail page within 24 hours of the transfer.

Once claimed, the buyer sees a confirmation screen with a short message and a link to open the asset in their vault. The asset moves with its complete history intact — every event from every previous owner is preserved. The timeline shows a "Change of ownership" divider marking the handover point. The following also happens automatically:

  • A transfer event is recorded on the provenance timeline
  • You lose access to the asset (it is now theirs)
  • The record of your ownership remains permanently in the provenance history — it cannot be removed
  • Both you and the buyer receive a Certificate of Transfer PDF by email — a formal document showing the asset details, transfer date, and the anonymised account IDs of both parties. Keep it for your records.

If the Link Expires

Generate a new link from the asset page. The previous link becomes invalid automatically. There is no limit on how many times you can regenerate — re-generating a link is free for the seller.

If the Sale Falls Through

If a transfer link is live but the sale doesn't go ahead, simply let it expire (48 hours) or generate a new link when you find a buyer. The asset stays in your vault and you retain full access throughout. No action needed to "cancel" — an unused link has no effect on the asset.

Marking as Departed Without a Buyer

If you give an item away as a gift, donate it, or it otherwise leaves your possession without a formal buyer, you can mark it as departed using the Log spatial event form. Choose event type "No longer in my possession" (Relinquished). This closes the item in your vault — it moves to the "Previously owned" section — and the departure is recorded permanently on the provenance timeline.

This path does not generate a transfer link and does not require the recipient to have a VAZANTIS account. The provenance history remains publicly visible but ownership is not formally transferred to anyone. Use P2P transfer whenever the recipient has or can create a VAZANTIS account.

9. Stolen Asset Flag

If an item is stolen or lost, go to the asset detail page and click Report stolen.

This adds a red warning banner to the public passport and the transfer claim page, and blocks any transfer of the asset. No one can accept ownership of a flagged item. You can remove the flag if the item is recovered.

This gives you a way to publicly signal loss or theft without removing the provenance record.

10. Vazport™

In-shop card (when buying from a VAZANTIS partner)

When you purchase from a VAZANTIS-registered partner, they automatically issue a free in-shop passport card at the time of sale. The card has a VP number handwritten on it (e.g. VP1042). You can use this number at any time to look up your passport:

  1. Go to vazantis.com/verify
  2. Type the number portion only (e.g. 1042)

The passport is live immediately — no account required to view it. To take full ownership and see the asset in your vault, follow the transfer link on the card or in the email the partner sent you.

If the partner provided your email at point of sale, you'll also receive an email with:

  • A direct link to your public passport
  • The transfer claim link (click to accept ownership)
  • Your VP card number
  • Information about upgrading to a premium NFC card

If the partner ordered a physical Vazport™ for you at point of sale, the order transfers to your name automatically when you claim the asset. It will appear in your Profile → Passport cards list (as Pending while in transit). The physical card carries the same VP number as the in-shop card. You do not need to do anything — ownership of the card order follows the asset.

Ordering a premium Vazport™ card

Order a premium Vazport™ for any asset from the asset detail page (click Order Vazport™) or at the time of registration.

Cost: see the Credits page for current pricing.

What you receive: A premium passport card with an embedded NFC chip — tap it with any phone to instantly reveal the full provenance history, verification record, and story. We also include a complimentary card for everyday convenience and portability — included free for a limited time.

Both cards carry a VP number (e.g. VP1000) printed on the back. As a fallback, this number can always be entered manually at vazantis.com/verify — the page shows a VP — prefix, so type just the number portion (e.g. 1000).

Use cases:

  • Keep one card with the item (inside the box, on the strap) and one as a spare
  • Hand it to a buyer to let them verify the provenance on the spot
  • Attach it to an auction display so bidders can self-verify

The shipping address you provide is used only for fulfilment and cleared from the system after dispatch.

In the rare case an order can't be fulfilled (an address issue, a duplicate order, etc.), VAZANTIS will cancel it and refund the credits you were charged in full — you'll see a notification and the credits will be back on your balance right away.

Ordering more: You can place multiple orders for the same asset. The button is available again once a previous order has been fulfilled. To combine multiple asset orders into one shipment, contact VAZANTIS directly.

Combined dispatch: While you have a Vazport™ order still being prepared, ordering one for a different asset costs less — shown as "Add to your current shipment" with the reduced price directly, not as a percentage-off deal. You'll see this near the order button and on the asset cards in your vault that don't have a card yet. Orders are usually prepared within about 2 working days of being placed, so this is a short window — worth ordering for your other pieces before the first one ships.

Prefer to have your partner handle it? If you're at a partner's shop and would rather they order a Vazport or generate a certificate for an item you already have a passport for (not a brand-new sale), just give them the VP number from your card or from /verify. They can order it for you from their own dashboard — the cost comes out of their credits, not yours.

Occasional Vazport™ promotions: from time to time VAZANTIS runs a limited-time discount on Vazport™ cards. When one is running, you'll see a banner near the order button and the original price shown struck through next to the discounted one. If you also have a Vazport™ order still pending at the same time, the two discounts stack — you get the promotion percentage plus the combined-dispatch saving, not just whichever is bigger. Vazport™ promotions are only available to regular customers, not partners.

Appreciation credit: occasionally, instead of running a price discount, VAZANTIS says thank you a different way — by adding a number of credits to your account, rather than lowering the price up front. There's no banner or struck-through price to look out for beforehand, and nothing appears right after you order, either — this one is only ever granted once your card actually ships. If it's running at the time your order ships, you'll see a short note in your shipping-confirmation email letting you know the credits were added. Like the promotions above, this is only available to regular customers, not partners.

Tracking your orders: Go to Profile → Account tab → Passport cards to see all your orders in one place — the asset each card is linked to, the VP number (assigned on dispatch), and the current status (Pending, Shipped, or — in the rare case an order couldn't be fulfilled — Cancelled & refunded).

Reminder email: if an asset has gone a few days without a Vazport™ ordered, you may receive a one-time email about it, with a link straight to the order page for that item. You won't be emailed about the same asset twice.

Activating your card

When you tap your card for the first time, the full passport history plays as a cinematic reveal — visible to anyone. To complete activation and unlock premium features, tap Activate Passport. You must be signed in to your VAZANTIS account at that moment. If you are not signed in, you will be redirected to the login page and returned to the activation screen immediately after. Make sure you sign in with the account that owns the asset — activating from a different account will be blocked.

Premium features unlocked on first tap

Once you tap Activate Passport while signed in, you become a member of the VAZANTIS Circle — VAZANTIS's name for Vazport-owner privileges — and the following features are permanently unlocked. Wherever you see the small gold ring mark (three linked arcs) next to a feature in the app, that's the Circle mark, and it means the feature comes with your Vazport.

FeatureScope
Journey view — two-column asset page with timeline beside a live map and trust ringPer asset
Physical passport chip on the public pagePer asset
Passport view analytics — weekly / monthly / all-time view counts and top countriesPer asset
Premium certificate design — distinct PDF and online certificatePer asset
Collection dossier PDF — full provenance export of your entire vaultAccount-wide

The collection dossier is a multi-page PDF covering all your active assets: brand, model, trust level, event count, blockchain anchors, partner stamps, watch specifications, and a mini provenance table for each item. Available from the Bulk actions dropdown in the vault header once you have 3 or more active assets. No credits required.

11. Partner Stamps

When a registered VAZANTIS partner (authorised dealer, independent watchmaker, or service centre) stamps a service event on your asset, a prominent gold "Verified by [Name]" banner appears permanently on your provenance record and raises the trust score significantly.

Walk-up stamp (no action needed from you)

Show the partner your asset's public passport — by tapping your Vazport™ card, or by tapping "Show at counter" on your asset detail page (opens a full-screen QR code to hold up for the partner to scan). The logged-in partner sees a "Partner actions" section at the bottom of the passport and taps "Stamp this visit". You receive a bell notification once they submit. No credit is charged on either side.

What the stamp looks like

Partner-stamped events are visually distinct on your timeline and public passport: a warm gold bordered card with a "Verified by [Name]" banner at the top (double-ring seal, gold uppercase text, "Registered VAZANTIS partner" subtitle). The stamp treatment also appears in any certificate of provenance you generate — gold row background, gold text, and a "V" indicator in the provenance table.

12. Privacy

VAZANTIS is designed so that sensitive data never leaves your device:

  • GPS coordinates are processed in your browser and immediately converted to a city-level approximation or the coordinates of a registered location. Raw location data is never transmitted.
  • Receipt files are fingerprinted in your browser. The file itself is never uploaded.
  • Serial numbers, private notes, and nicknames are never included in the public passport or shown to anyone but you.
  • Your identity never appears on the public passport or in certificates.

13. Invite Friends — Referral Programme

Every VAZANTIS account has a personal invite link, visible on your Profile → Account tab. When someone signs up via your link and registers their first item, you both receive bonus credits automatically — no code required, no claiming needed.

Your invite link looks like:

vazantis.com/signup?ref=XXXXXXXX

Copy it from your profile and share it however you like — email, message, or social.

How rewards work:

  • The new member receives a small bonus of credits when their account is confirmed.
  • You receive a larger bonus the moment they register their first item.
  • Reward amounts may change over time — you'll always receive whatever the current amount is, credited automatically.
  • Your profile shows how many successful referrals you have made.

14. Profile and Account Settings

Go to Profile from the top-right menu.

Account tab:

  • Edit your display name
  • View your Account ID — an 8-character code shown near your email address. Quote this to support if you ever need help (support@vazantis.com).
  • Toggle email notifications — both asset registration and spatial event emails are off by default and can be switched on here
  • View your credit balance and transaction history
  • View your Passport cards — a list of all NFC card orders with the asset each card is linked to and its VP number. If you haven't ordered any yet, a prompt links you to your vault to get started.
  • View your personal referral link and successful referral count
  • Schedule account deletion — your account is marked for deletion and you are signed out. You have 30 days to change your mind: sign back in within that window and click "Cancel deletion — keep my account" to restore full access. After 30 days your personal data is permanently deleted. Provenance records may be retained in irreversibly anonymised form with all personal identifiers removed — see the Privacy Policy for details.

Notification bell — The bell icon in the top navigation shows unread notifications. Click to see recent activity across your collection (events logged, transfers completed, credits purchased, reminders due).

15. Service Locations

A searchable directory of VAZANTIS-verified service partners is coming soon. These are the businesses whose location data drives trust score boosts when you log events nearby — watchmakers, boutiques, and affiliated service centres. When the directory launches, you will be able to browse by country and city and see which partners are VAZANTIS-affiliated.

Reporting a public passport: If you see a public passport that contains inaccurate, inappropriate, or suspicious content, scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Report this passport". Select the reason that best applies (Counterfeit or fake item, Inaccurate information, Stolen or missing item, Inappropriate content, Irrelevant or unrelated content, Suspicious activity, or Other) and confirm. The report is sent directly to the VAZANTIS team — no account required.

16. Support

Visit the support page for answers to common questions about credits, assets, Vazport™ cards, transfers, certificates, and privacy.

For direct help, email support@vazantis.com — quote your Account ID from Profile → Account so the team can locate your account immediately.

Have quick feedback instead of a support question? The feedback survey is short and optional — no account needed — for telling us what's working, what's confusing, or what to fix next.
